Mission for Children

ACMA launched a programme in mid 2001 to foster and promote the missionary spirit in the children of the archdiocese of Singapore. Activity cards were given out during certain catechism lessons, culminating in a Mission Celebration in October. The project was first started in some churches in the North district and in the later years, extended to churches throughout Singapore who chose to participate in the mission exercise.

The Children's Mission Prayer

Lord Jesus, we lift this Children's Mission Programme to you. Bless the Mission's success that more people know you. Bless our parents for their love and support. Bless our parish priests for their encouragement and dedication. Bless our catechism teachers for guiding us. Bless us on our journey in Sunday School. Bless our non-Catholic friends that they may experience Your wonderful love. And bless us, Lord, that we may make You known through our prayers, kindness and good deeds. Amen.
